Setareh Shahbazi

Fastforward And Rewind

4 mins 29 secs

I filmed this scene a few years ago. I have been watching it a million times ever since. I realize that I don't have much to add here. The beauty lies within. The trouble lies within. It is life and it is timeless. Attributing completely new meanings to Fastforward and Rewind. Spiralling whirligigs on a squeaky fun fair on shaky grounds, swallowing and spitting out generations of youth. When exactly were ffwd and rwnd replaced by shuffle and skip?
