Amir began his cinematography career as a photographer exhibiting his work in both solo and group exhibitions in Iran. In 2002 he shot his first documentary series leading him to shoot over ten documentary and fiction productions to date. His 7 short films have been shown in film festivals internationally. Amir holds majored in Arts and Cinema and currently lives and works in Iran. 'If there was one thing I would say about what it was like being Kiarostami's student is that I am simply happy I was able to live in his time'.
